ACCHORD is an auditioned a cappella group composed of transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming musicians. We chose our name Acchord because it not only means to be in harmony, which is apt for a choir, but more critically, it also means to grant power. Through musical outreach in our local community, we strive to affirm that transgender, non-binary, and gender non-conforming people are seen — we are brilliant, and we have power.
